PCRprep was founded and developed by Matthew Rada.
His experience working as a lab technician in lab diagnostics and his interest in software engineering led him to developing PCRprep.
Although PCR is a very simple method in microbiology, doing this process for hundreds of samples a week can be quite tedious.
Which is why PCRprep was designed specifically to alleviate this pain point in making PCR a more seamless process.
